Kendra Chell hails from Chico, California and comes to Los Angeles by way of San Francisco. She has been nominated for LA Weekly Awards for her work in the Open Fist Theatre production of The Illusion,and Theatre Movement Bazaar’s Track 3. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University and has studied with LAMDA, Berkeley Rep and UCB.
She has worked with American Conservatory Theatre, The San Francisco Mime Troupe, Theatre Movement Bazaar, The Antaeus Company and Kingsmen Shakespeare to name a few. Past credits include Arcadia, La Ronde, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, A Lie of the Mind, James Joyce’s THE DEAD and The Rover.
Film and TV credits include Transparent, 9-1-1, I Am I, Diani and Devine Meet the Apocalypse, Save the Date, The Selling, Venice By The Sea, Gifts, Against The Grain, Close So Far and “Mary Olsen” webisodes. Kendra is a proud member of Theatre of NOTE.
Her theatre work has taken her touring through the UK, Russia and China, and can’t think of a better way to see the world.
